HD 5970 will be a dual-slot GPU with two cores sourced from the Radeon HD 5870.
The upcoming GPU is not quite twice the beast of the Radeon HD 5870, as the memory clock has been dropped from 1200MHz to 1000MHz, while the core clock has been reduced from 850MHz to 725MHz. Raw numbers alone dictate that the card should fall a hair shy of CrossFired Radeon HD 5870s. 5970 will have 34,3 cm! and you will need a 8 & 6 pin psu connector

Windows 7 vs Windows XP Gaming

Microsoft recently released its latest Windows operating system : Windows 7. Windows 7 looks good , runs smooth and you get directx 11 , but the real question for gamers is : What system is better ? Xp or Windows 7 ?
In my opinion Xp = play it safe - directx9 , Vista is in the middle - direct x10 , and Windows 7 is the new high end OS to have - directx 11.
I played games in Xp for 4-5 years , vista 1-2 years , and win 7 for 1 week , and i can say that vista is better then Xp , you have better quality but sometimes its slow .
Windows 7 is a crossbreed between Xp and Vista , perfect for gaming with equal or higher performance then xp , with directx 11 all the games will run better with " ice cool " graphics.
